James is a young prison inmate, charming con-man, and drug addict who is desperately seeking “respect” and a sense of self-worth.  He admires Leon, an older inmate who is in the business of selling contraband drugs in the prison.  He buys drugs from Leon and hopes to become one of Leon’s inner circle.  But when he is unable to pay up, events escalate until a Christian staff officer intervenes and offers James a lifeline to true respect and purpose as a new man in Christ.
