Inspired by Jesus’s parable from Luke 15:11-32, The Prodigal Son is the story of a young man returning home after serving a prison sentence for killing a young woman while driving drunk.  The young man’s parents eagerly await his return, but his sister is bitterly resentful of the negative impact his behavior has had on her life.  When the young man arrives home with the friend who has brought him to Christ, who also turns out to be the father of the young woman he has killed, his sister must face compelling questions about the meaning of forgiveness and love.
