KnoxCAM History

A church mission trip was just the beginning of the story of God’s faithfulness and guidance during the last 15 years.  No one can say anything but that HE has done this.

The opportunities for service became so numerous that in July 2009 Cedar Springs commissioned Knoxville Christian Art Ministries as a ministry of the church dedicated to missional outreach through choral and instrumental music, dance, and drama.

In January 2020, KnoxCAM became an independent, non-profit, 501(c)(3) ministry.  We are generously supported by Cedar Springs, as well as by many other individuals and organizations.

Our membership now includes 120 volunteers, ages 18-90, from 40 different churches in the Knoxville area.  We serve annually in prisons across Tennessee, at Knox Area Rescue Ministries, and for various community outreach events.
